Nutritional Program

We are fighting a war against hunger and we are in the front of the scandal that according to Khmer Government, currently there are 5 million undernourished Cambodian citizens. Thus we decided to launch Nutritional Program in our Cambodia factories to promote employees’ health since the beginning of 2015. Partnership with Hagar, a social enterprise, we provide free lunch and introduce nutrition concepts to 10,000 employees in Cambodia.

Canteen Committee has been established with the mission to ensure the quality of meal, and to maintain a positive and pleasant atmosphere in canteen for every employee. We have attached great importance to employees’ health condition and our Nutritional Program has experienced a huge success. Nutritional Program in China has been launched even earlier.

NHH Program

Sabrina Group and Sipar, an NGO operating in Cambodia, held our official launching ceremony  of “Nutrition, Health, and Hygiene Program (NHH Program)” in May 2017. The goal of NHH Program is to provide education around nutrition and personal hygiene to children in rural Cambodia. Through education and library services, Sabrina strives to improve overall health and wellness of youth.

Sabrina NHH Program represents an evolution of Sabrina Nutritional Lunch. A mobile library will make scheduled stops at community centers in the districts of Posenchey, Angsnoul, and Samrong Tong to raise awareness among 1800 children and 900 families on the crucial topics of nutrition and personal hygiene.

Creating A Reading Culture

For us, literacy is a fundamental human right contributing to poverty reduction and sustainable development.

Building literacy capacity and a reading culture not only meets our long-term goal of localization, but also promotes human development in Cambodia as a whole. While many families in Cambodia have no books for their children to read, Sabrina has launched Library Resource Centers where employees can sit and read during their lunch break; employees can also borrow books home for their families.

Innovative App for Employee Engagement

In the process of shifting from basic industry to higher-end manufacturing, we have stayed ahead of the game by putting our employees first and investing in employee training. Employees are our greatest asset.

Micro Benefit, a smart phone app, is one of the methods that we have exploited since 2014 in China. Functions include instant information sharing, company news announcing, two-way communication between frontline employees and management team, HSE training, etc. We drive up employee engagement and retention to keep our greatest asset.
